STEAM for preschoolers refers to the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into playful and hands-on learning experiences. Activities will include science experiments, building and engineering challenges, creative art projects, early math exploration, and problem -solving games. This class encourages curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and confidence while supporting important school readiness skills. Children are encouraged to ask questions and make connections, which are essential for their overall development and future success.

Immunization
Immunization records must be turned in with registration. State law requires that all children who attend a licensed facility must be up to date on immunizations. Children in the process of getting caught up on required immunizations are permitted to attend school under a conditional enrollment, provided the child has received one dose of each specified vaccine prior to enrollment and is not yet due to receive the remaining doses. Idaho low allows a parent or guardian to claim and immunization exemption for their child for medical, religious, or other reasons. A medical exemption must be completed by a licensed physician.
General
Children must be fully potty trained prior to beginning preschool.
Teacher
Sick Days
As hard as we try, it is inevitable that we, or one of our children will become ill and we will need to cancel class. Each teacher is allowed two sick days before make up days are required. We appreciate your cooperation and patience with this matter, as we do the best we can to be present and involved with the instruction of your child.
Holidays and Snow Days
We will follow the School District 25 calendar for holidays, snow days, and any other days off school.
Field Trips
We will take 2-3 field trips throughout the year. Parents will be responsible for driving or arranging transportation to and from field trips. While our field trips are fun and engaging, they are also meant to be an educational, learning experience.
